What a great experience!! Met with Chris to discuss buying a Tracer which was in superb condition and had been serviced by them. A really friendly and helpful experience which resulted in me buying it. Not being local I had to get a train back as I wanted to ride it home. Pete picked me up from the station and Will completed all the final paperwork and talked me through it. Dan then gave me the once over on how it worked.
Also, they have a superb shop which I thought was really well laid out and the products displayed in a professional manner.
What a team!! First class. Go visit!!

I travelled from Doncaster to look at the two XSR700s that were for sale. Both models looked clean and well maintained, but I needed to view the bikes for peace of mind. From initially arriving, to buying a helmet and trousers, to buying a lovely retro XSR700, in red and white, the service I received was 5 star. Before taking delivery of the bike it was serviced and MOTed. I would unquestionably recommend Shorroks. Chris, Tony and Steve offer real customer service, effortlessly. I can't thank the whole team enough. Brought a Harley as described and the effort walking and talking me through the bike to ensure I was 100% satisfied before I left was second to none. I could not help but grin at the noise the machine made. I was sold on the spot. The team even loaded and secured the bike in my van which was a bonus. Just a shame Preston is so far away from Plymouth as I'd love a shop like they have down here. If I'm ever up north and in the area I'd definitely pop in again.

I originally went in for a different bike than what I ended up buying, Chris was fantastic from start to finish, he gave me a good trade-in price for my old bike, and we were able to sort out the purchase of my new bike and I picked it up two days later.
The service is oldschool, customer comes first and that is the way it should be.
Coming from me who does not recommend anyone for anything, I find myself surprised I am even writing this.

I purchased a 31 year old Honda CBR600F in exceptional condition after seeing it advertised online. I rode my bike over 200 miles from central Wiltshire to look at it and subsequently bought it, and then continued my journey covering over 300 miles in the first 24hrs of ownership. Aside from speaking well of in person to fellow bikers I’ve never got round to putting my appreciation out there to a wider audience. Seriously folks I cannot speak highly enough of the service I have received. Recently I had an issue with a Bluetooth set and sought the advice of the guys in parts. In short, without fuss or question, my unit was sent off and returned promptly , without charge, like new!! Yes !! I’ve had to box at other places and still left with a bloodied wallet. Just bought a R1100S, which was advertised on ebay.
Bike was in excellent condition and given a service before I received it, which included a new front tyre.
All staff members from Shorrocks were extremely friendly and efficient and bike was delivered very promptly. Due to Shorrocks customer service and the quality of the R1100S, I will make sure Shorrocks are the first port of call when I buy my next bike.

This is the first time I have bought a bike and not seen it in the flesh as I live in Wiltshire, from the first phone call to the delivery of the bike Chris and his team have been absolutely fantastic, I was put at ease from the start due to their patience and honest approach. Their friendly attitude was a warm welcome, too many sellers these days just want your money, Buying this bike has been an absolute pleasure and would not hesitate to recommend or use these guys again, Chris you have restored my faith in the human race again!

The trust element was key and upon delivery within 72 hrs, I wasn't disappointed!!!!

Serviced, valeted and absolute gem.

In my personal email to Chris, I made my gratitude known and I can only reiterate this within this review.... I only wish I lived nearer.

been dealing with the lads at shorrocks for many years,having sold/bought in the region of 10 motorcycles to/from them,always helpful,with great prices on tyres and other parts/accessories in their extensive stores dept. where tony and wilf always helpful with advice on components,clothing,helmets and bike gear,of which they hold a very comprehensive range at very competitive prices.
The lads in the workshop are all approachable and helpful and have many years of experience between them and chris in the showroom always passes the time of day when im in and always finds time for a quick catch up even if hes busy,with an extensive range of quality bikes,tyres,parts,clothing,boots,helmets and even an m.o.t bay truly a "ONE STOP SHOP".
Bought a Kawasaki 600 today and even though shes a 2nd hand oldie at a great price,the machine was treated to a complete check over and valet before handover and the lads in the workshop ensured I was familiar with all the controls and even fitted a battery charge lead that I had dropped off a few hours before collection,so all in all full 10/10 for customer service from chris,and same for the workshop boys,so if you see a bike,helmet or clothing offered online or instore,you can buy,safe in the knowledge that the staff at shorrocks will ensure that you,get a great deal and provide great after sales service should it be needed.

Had a set of tyres fitted today by these guys, it’s been a long time since I have been genuinely surprised but the care and attention to detail shown in a simple job like fitting a set of tyres did. From wiping down the rims after the tyres were fitted, making sure everything was greased up on refitting even down to the mechanic washing his hands before wheeling my bike out showed genuine respect for both customer and the bike. Bought my first bike off Chris last week, bike is in immaculate condition just exactly as he described it. Very easy to deal with and very helpful, Chris was able to send me extra photos and a walk round video of the bike going. The whole process was very simple, great to deal with would definitely buy another bike off Chris- top bloke. Pity it wasn't as easy to buy in Ireland. Many thanks Kevin

I can't recommend this firm more highly than to say, if I ever buy another bike ( I am 70) it will be through Chris and his firm, and I am the other end of the country to him. Chris and everybody at Shorrocks couldn't have done more for me, to make sure that I was happy with my purchase. They serviced the bike and thoroughly tested it before delivering to me down on the south coast in Dorset.
Unfortunately on the day, the M6 was closed completely and havoc reigned all the way down, (nearly nine hours journey) but this didn't phase the driver at all, he was helpful , patient and polite, and most importantly the bike was immaculate, it really did look like new, what more can you ask for. I am a very happy customer.

Shorrock Motorcycles is a great dealership. I’ve just bought a MT 09 Tracer and it was a really good experience. The staff were very friendly and helpful and I was impressed with the way that they went to the trouble to make sure that everything was done correctly. The bike was serviced before I collected it and I was shown all round it, with everything demonstrated and checked over. The part ex on my old bike was good and I even got a cup of tea whilst I sorted out my insurance! Very pleased and will definitely go back.

After a bad experience with another bike dealer, I decided to try Shorrocks for a new scooter. Chris identified the best model for me and it has proved much more reliable than previous scooters. A car recently knocked me off and I ended up seriously hurt in hospital. Shorrocks' support extended to trying to kindly help my wife get the scooter out of the police compound - over and above the line of duty. Fantastic service, fantastic guys. If I get back on a scooter again it will be one of yours.

I have just purchased Shoei Excursion 2 from you earlier today. I was in the market for a sports touring helmet that was quiet and comfy for long distances. I’ve been out for a 50 mile ride tonight and I must say it’s the best helmet I have ever had. Very quiet, comfy, draft free and no misting, which pretty good bearing mind how cold it is tonight (2 deg C). The staff were very informative and spent the time for me to make the right selection. Just bought a bike unseen from these guys (I'm in Ireland), Chris took time to describe it over the phone in great detail and answer all my questions, great customer service. Bike arrived and it is absolutely immaculate, just as described, and even came with a fresh service! My courier also commented they were a great bunch to deal with.

I would like to thank Chris so much for his excellent customer service, everytime that I pop in to the shop I can see that he is busy but he always takes the time to come and say Hi and andise me of how to get my motorbike up to its best, I bought my first motorbike Suzuki GSXR 600 3 to 4 years ago and I have ever since come back to Shorrocks.
I have searched for other motorbike shops in Preston and none are to the standards as Shorrocks, I always get my bike services and MOT here.

Bought my 2nd bike from these guys, which must say a lot. Friendly guys, always helpful when my other bike needed spares or repairs, including offering me cheaper options when my exhaust needed replacing ! They even did me a good deal on clothing etc when I bought it as the other (Yamaha) was my first bike after few years not riding. 2nd bike great to ride, knowing if anything goes wrong, Shorrocks will be there to help me.

I'm new to the world of motorcycling and called into shorrocks for the first time this morning to get a couple of items. I was met by a great team of friendly staff who gave me great advice and as a newbie gave me time when asking loads of questions. I am currently doing my DAS and hopefully buying a bigger bike soon. I have been to many motorcycle dealers lately but can honestly say my search is over. When I have my licence I will be returning to Shorrocks to part ex my current bike and get another one. Recently visited the shop and ordered two new tyres for my BMW , they were ordered whilst I was there and they were fitted by 1pm the next day ,I call that excellent service at a good price, I also bought a new pair of gloves , the range is very good and it is the same for all items including a very good range of helmets ,yes you guessed it I bought a new helmet too at an excellent discount , I can honestly say the lads were very good ,helpful and pleasant and the bikes are displayed well with room to look at them rather than them being crammed together like some shops. Bought a Triumph Sprint from Shorrocks recently and found the guys there friendly, helpful and transparent. Bike was ready on time, serviced, polished and ready to go. Fair trade in and left the shop happy with the deal I received. Able to have a good chat to the guys in the workshop and everyone there were prepared to spend a little time to ensure I was happy with the deal. This is the second bike I have bought from Shorrocks and have used them for tyres, Mots and gear for many years. Always good service and highly recommended.

I recently travelled from the south of England to buy a used BMW motorcycle from Shorrocks motorcycles in Preston and I am very glad that I did. The bike I bought is everything it was described to be, it is in great condition and the price was very fair. Got my used bike delivered last week after p/x my z1000 for a 2013 gsxr600 of which I am very pleased with. Dealing with Chris was great, no pressure to buy . Was given a very good price for my old bike and the new one was priced realistically. Chris made sure the gixer was fully serviced, MOTed etc, great customer service by all the staff. Damien delivered it to me in Carlisle and was very knowledgeable and friendly, showed me round the bike and made sure I was happy. I've just bought a Honda pcx from shorrocks. It was my first time in the shop and found they had loads of bikes and accessories to choose from.
I was with my two young children and they where all over the shop messing around with helmets and gloves.
Chris came over and introduced himself to us before leaving us to further have a look around. I found him very approachable and friendly and not at all pushy.
After I found what I was after we called him over and he explained the different finance deals available and immediately gave us a great discount.
I took a day to think about buying the bike before phoning Chris and paying over the phone.
He sorted out the L plates I needed at no extra cost and also the delivery Of The bike to my house.
On delivery, a very friendly chap ( I didn't get his name unfortunately ) gave me a guide to the bike showing me everything I needed to know and more.
I could not be happier with the service I got from shorrock and would not hesitate on using them again.

I have recantly purchased a zx6r from these guys and from start to finnish thay have nothing but good and honest. I only saw the bike from photos online. When i spoke to chris i asked him to be honest with the condition of the bike. All he keept saying was "god she is clean" and then pointed out a tiny black smudge on it and i mean tiny. If he didnt say it was there i wouldnt of found it, it was that small. If i get another bike the 1st place i look is shorrocks. Thay deleved to buckingham and there time keeping was bang on. Well recommend them.

Purchased a ST1300 over the phone with Shorrocks description and i am absolutely over the moon, Totally as described, Communication Excellent, Friendly service, then had it delivered over 300 miles away and could not fault, Turned up slightly faster than promised (3 hours ahead of time). I would have NO hesitation purchasing again in the future. Absolute 1st class service all the way.

Hi, I would like to add a review on my experience on purchasing my 650 VStrom. From the moment I arrived at Horrocks I was made very welcome and any questions I asked were dealt with and Chris and his staff were very helpful. I asked if I could have a run out on the bike and not from being from the area was taken out with one of the staff for about 30mins. I was very pleased with the service and would not hesitate in recommending Horrock's !

They have a large range of clothing/parts & accessories which invite you to return. I am delighted with my Bonneville & i would highly recommend them.

Bought my new Shoei Neotech from the guys at Shorrocks. Didn't have the colour I wanted in stock - no problem, ordered-in.
You want to be able to try before buying, this is the way to do it - forget buying online with these guys, you will not get better service or price.

Found these guys through auto trader bikes and I have to say they are one of the best motorcycle traders I have ever dealt with. Friendly, helpful and a pleasure to deal with from the offset. The bike I was interested in was exactly as described and at a very competitive price. Chris even picked me up from the train station when I went to look at the bike.
While I was there I had a chance to look round the shop and found an excellent mix of bikes, from large adventure tourers, old school muscle bikes, hooligan machines and commuters to custom bikes and all looked to be in exceptional condition. The shop also sports a large and very well stocked clothing and parts/accessories department upstairs.
On the whole I can most certainly recommend this business, I am delighted with my purchase and would buy from them again in a heartbeat. Thanks again guys, keep up the good work.

So glad I found Shorrocks, all in one day...visit the shop(impressed straight away) nice welcome,really nice people(no pushy sales) found the used bike I was looking for, got a good deal on my trade in, sorted the paperwork , bike straight into garage for service and final check / valet, test ride and ready to ride away same day...beat that for service ! Great family business with a great choice of quality used (and new) bikes. Large clothing accessories shop upstairs as well. Don't buy your bike anywhere else till you have checked these guys out,

I first used shorrocks on the recommendation of my father who has used them back in his biking days.First purchase was a jacket,now well used but still going after 3 years.This was very competitively priced and good quality.Spares if not in stock are a available within 24 to 48 hours and cheaper than Ebay.Really helpful and knowledgable staff, a great and enjoyable experience every visit,keep up the good work and once again thanks,Adam
